caught Death Note 2 - The Last Name today. boy that was 2hr20min and $7.50 all well spent! it was a super intellectual movie which requires analysis of the plot and it's all about twists in the plot. Kira aka Light VS Ryuzaki aka L, both haf super high IQs i must say and it's like all abt them trying to outwit each other. (i shan't expose the ending just in case some of you haven't caught it and i don't wanna spoil the fun) it's one movie which i feel that my brain is 3/4 fried after watching. the whole time trying to catch the plot and all. but the movie was just great. i would hesitate giving this movie 5☆s! do catch it if u haven't but i strongly recommend watching Death Note before watching Death Note 2 for if u don't and proceed to watch Death Note 2 you'll just be lost in a whole lot of entangling plots.
and shucks. initially i felt Ryuzaki (aka L) looked and behave like a freak, using only 2fingers of both hands in whatever he does, ALWAYS EATING, and only eats extremely sweet stuff. but the way he analyses things and situations is just AMAZING la! and oh the "joker" side of him is really damn funny. imagine the whole theatre burst into laughter upon seeing that scene. but now i think he is damn cool!! who cares whether he looks/behaves "freakishly" cuz the way he sees through pple & things just totally blew me away. he is really really really damn intelligent! (: wish i'm like half as smart as him.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
the christmas party at ian's was quite nice.
jean came back! it was great to see her back again! and great to know that she's doing well over there and all.
and it's nice catching up with some of the councillors whom i haven seen since grad night!
and oh the best thing is ian's house has a swing in his balcony! (not exactly balcony cuz he lives on the 1st floor) and cais and i just sat there and talked quite alot w occasional disturbances by kenneth. grr. but yeah. i miss her! and i'm glad for that opportunity!
thats abt it for the party. a short but memorable session.
anyway another thing regarding christmas day.

pretty pointless afternoon being the couch potato with my mum cheonging the last 4 episodes of a korean drama. gosh was it tiring to just sit in front of the black box and stare at it for 4 straight hours! but yay. korean actors are just so charismatic like gosh. WHY. WHY. hahah enough.
had dinner with ian and serxing at vivo. like finally after procrastinating for damn long. sorry serx! anyway, yeah had dinner and then we went to the roof top of vivo city and just sat there and just talked. it's been ages since we've seen each other (ian and i haven't seen serx that is) but we did not have any trouble with conversation topics.
and we just sat there facing the sea and just talked. abt alot of stuff. friendships relationships school work whatever. and it's nice to open up and at least share stuff with pple whom u noe are there to listen. not like i got alot to say but well i listen!! (: hahahah!
yeah that was prolly my dinner. nice! and i must say the best part of vivo city is definitely their rooftop man. hahah. yay.

okay! firstly, congrats to yan liang and kenneth! officially officers. HAHAH.
yeah. graduands of class 2006. hahah! the parade was quite cool.
and i must say SAFTI is DAMN big. it looks exactly like a boarding sch! goodness.
poor jingxiu and i almost got lost in it. we had to take out the mini map in the booklet to refer. and light from the lamp post nearby. so funny and where were the ushers! no we didn't see any cuz we probably went the wrong way. HAHAH. we found our way eventually.
secondly, declaration of love. hahah. jingxiu! hello dear! this is for you!
thank you. no you should thank me. for surviving that horror dinner! (u know why)
HAHAH! and also. thank you for the fun and the laughter we had yesterday! at the parade square and on the cab (WOOHOO! exciting. hahah!) and the unhealthy us going to die walking the distance and just climbing THAT few flights of stairs. gosh.

grad night 2006 is officially over! no more last min frantic shopping trips. no more spending that amt of money! (at least not for now)
we checked in the hotel at abt 2plus in the afternoon then those who wanted makeup with the makeup artist started their make up. i decided to do the make up myself since i felt i had all the cosmetics and tools needed i might as well save money and DIY. woah was damn glad it turned out okay.
but i must say that grad night this year was gd. though most pple didn't go with the theme (yes i was one of them but not the only one) but it was still a night of glam and retro combined. and OH the food was quite horrible! i thought was not as gd as last years at Grand Corpthorne but perhaps they spent more money on the lucky draw prizes because the prizes are REALLY REALLY GOOD this year! ahh!
the 1st prize was 8GB (yes it's EIGHT GB) iPOD nano laa! that guy who won it must happy like mad! 2nd prize was 6megapixel (yes it's SIX) Olympus digi cam and some vouchers. guess who won it? PRES! he was damn lucky la.. to think he still said he didn't bring his cam that night yet he won a cam. there were other prizes like Crumpler bags.. hampers. really damn good. but i didn't win anything. LOL! but it doesn't matter la.
it's great to see a different side of pple all dressed up and everything. some pple look so different from their normal sch appearance they can't be recognized at just one look. but it was fun la. some catching up and cam-whoring. nobody really bothered about the food. which was quite horrible. prom king and prom queen winners were worthy of their win. so yeah. quite a wellplanned event all in all.
post prom was kinda boring like there was nothing much to do, cuz we weren't clubbing. oh my clique went to swensens to eat somemore after the dinner. lol! after that andy&claire went off whilst i went with some of our classmates went to play pool. after which some of them left then gen and i went back to the room at 5plus and slpt. checked out at 11. breakfast. home.
i dunno why i thought i had more fun at the after prom last year than this year. this year was quite boring. but well i still enjoyed myself! photos up soon!
